Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crabmeat, flaked
  • 1 lb. jalapenos in can
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped green peppers
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 c. cracker meal
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove seeds and pulp, then rinse.
  2. In a large bowl, combine crabmeat, chopped green peppers, onions, dill pickles, cracker meal, beaten egg, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, chopped garlic, and milk.
  3. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Fill each jalapeno half with the crab mixture, pressing the stuffing around the peppers.
