Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 package (4 servings) butter pecan pudding mix
  • 1 cup sour cream (8 oz.)
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine brown sugar, flour, and ground cinnamon in a small bowl to make the crumb topping.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the yellow cake mix, butter pecan pudding mix, sour cream, oil, and eggs.
  4. Blend the mixture for 4 minutes until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into a prepared baking pan.
  6. Dice the cranberry sauce and sprinkle evenly over the batter.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes.
  8. Remove the cake from the oven and sprinkle with the prepared crumb mixture.
  9. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  10. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then turn the cake crumb side up to serve.
