Crazy Cake(Chocolate)
A moist, rich chocolate cake with a tender crumb, made with pantry staples and no eggs, perfect for quick desserts or casual gatherings.

- In a mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa, soda, and salt.
- Sift the dry ingredients into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch loaf pan.
- With the back of a mixing spoon, make three holes in the dry ingredients.
- Pour melted shortening into the first hole, vinegar into the second, and vanilla into the third.
- Pour cold water over the top of the mixture.
- Mix and blend thoroughly until the batter is smooth.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
- Watch carefully; the cake will appear wet on top but should not be overbaked.
- Allow the cake to cool before frosting as desired.
