Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup crushed nuts
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Mix crushed graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter or margarine well, then press into a 9 or 10-inch spring-form pan to form the crust.
  2. Sprinkle 1/2 cup crushed nuts on top of the crust.
  3. Beat eggs and almond extract together until well combined.
  4. Add sugar and softened cream cheese to the egg mixture and beat until smooth.
  5. Fold in sour cream until well blended.
  6. Pour the filling over the crust and nuts in the spring-form pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour, preheated for 10 minutes.
