Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 54 graham crackers
  • 2 to 3 bananas

Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla flavoring until stiff peaks form.
  2. Arrange 9 graham crackers in a square on a serving plate.
  3. Spread a thin layer of whipped cream over the crackers and top with thinly sliced bananas.
  4. Repeat the layering process four more times, creating multiple layers.
  5. Place another layer of graham crackers on top.
  6. Frost the sides and top of the torte with the remaining whipped cream.
  7. Coat the sides with chopped nuts and sprinkle remaining nuts on top.
  8. Chill the torte for about 3 hours before serving.
  9. For best results, leave overnight before cutting into squares.
