Ingredients

  • large bag broccoli
  • large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 stick Parkay margarine
  • 12 oz milk
  • 3 Tbsp self-rising flour
  • 1 to 2 cups shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Cover the broccoli and chopped onion with water in a large pot and cook until tender.
  2. Add salt to the cooked vegetables.
  3. Stir in the margarine until melted.
  4. Blend the milk and flour together until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the milk and flour mixture into the cooked vegetables, stirring constantly to combine.
  6. Add shredded cheese and stir until melted and well incorporated.
