Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons onions
  • 1 tablespoon minced parsley
  • 1 slightly beaten egg

Instructions

  1. Mix the cream of mushroom soup and water together; reserve 3/4 of this mixture.
  2. Combine all other ingredients: ground beef, bread crumbs, onions, parsley, and beaten egg.
  3. Form the mixture into medium-sized meatballs.
  4. Brown the meatballs in shortening in a skillet.
  5. Pour off the fat from the skillet.
  6. Add the reserved soup mixture to the skillet with the meatballs.
  7. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring often.
