Ingredients

  • 4 qt. sliced cucumbers
  • 6 medium white onions, sliced
  • 2 green peppers, chopped
  • 1/3 c. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard seed

Instructions

  1. Put cucumbers, onions, and peppers in a large pan or bowl.
  2. Add salt and cover with ice.
  3. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Let stand for 3 hours.
  5. Drain.
