Ingredients

  • 2 cups ready-to-eat cereal
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 2 packages instant pudding (any flavor)
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spread cereal and shredded coconut in an ungreased pan measuring 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch.
  3. Mix brown sugar and melted margarine; pour over the cereal and coconut mixture.
  4. Bake until bubbly, approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
  5. Break the baked mixture into pieces.
  6. Prepare instant pudding according to flavor preference, such as pistachio or vanilla.
  7. Layer pudding with broken cereal mixture and whipped cream as desired to assemble parfaits.
