Ingredients

  • 6 or 7 cups chopped apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • dash of nutmeg or ginger
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Mix 6 or 7 chopped apples with 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and a dash of nutmeg or ginger.
  2. Put the apple mixture in the bottom of a pie pan and dot with butter.
