Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 6 beef cube steaks
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 envelope brown gravy mix
  • 1 envelope mushroom gravy mix
  • 1 envelope onion gravy mix

Instructions

  1. Place flour in a plastic bag.
  2. Add the steaks, a few at a time, and toss to coat.
  3. In a skillet, cook the steaks in oil until lightly browned on each side.
  4. Place browned steaks in a casserole dish.
  5. Add sliced onion to the dish.
  6. In a bowl, whisk water with the brown gravy mix, mushroom gravy mix, and onion gravy mix together.
  7. Pour the gravy mixture over the steaks and onions in the casserole dish.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 60 minutes.
  9. Serve with noodles or mashed potatoes.
