Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Whole Small Onions
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 2 tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Curry Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Paprika
  • 1 C. Milk

Instructions

  1. Peel the onions and cook in boiling salted water for 15 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the flour, salt, curry powder, and paprika.
  3. Gradually add the milk, cooking and stirring until the mixture is thick and bubbly.
  4. Add the cooked onions to the sauce and mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a 1-quart casserole dish.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
