Ingredients

  • 3 cans kidney beans
  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 pkg. chili seasoning mix
  • 1 onion

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger in a large pot or skillet.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
  3. Combine all ingredients: kidney beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili seasoning mix, cooked hamburger, and onion.
  4. Simmer the mixture for at least 1 hour to develop flavors.
  5. Serve hot, optionally in a crock-pot for slow cooking.
