Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 8 oz chopped dates
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine margarine, sugar, milk, chopped dates, and chopped pecans in a saucepan.
  2. Cook over low to medium heat for 6 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly until manageable.
  5. Roll the mixture into small balls.
  6. Roll each ball into powdered sugar as you make them.
  7. Store in an airtight container; can be frozen for later use.
