Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Pillsbury butter-date quick bread mix
  • 3/4 cup finely diced canned pears, drained
  • 1/2 cup pear syrup
  • 1/2 cup grated or shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly grease and flour the bottom of a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  3. Combine the Pillsbury butter-date quick bread mix, diced canned pears, pear syrup, and grated Cheddar cheese in a bowl.
  4. Stir the mixture 50 to 75 strokes until just moistened.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 55 to 65 minutes.
  7. Cool for 15 minutes before turning out of the pan.
