Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and mix by hand.
  2. Pour the batter into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes.
  4. Test with a toothpick for doneness.
  5. Cool in the pan and top with icing.
