Ingredients

  • 2 lb hamburger
  • 2 lb sausage
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 40 to 50 hot peppers
  • 1 bundle green onions
  • 1 medium onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs in a bowl.
  2. Cut the ends off the hot peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. Mix hamburger, sausage, chopped onion, garlic salt, and pepper together.
  4. Stuff the mixture into the prepared hot peppers.
  5. Roll the stuffed peppers in flour, then dip into beaten eggs.
  6. Fry the coated peppers in oil in an electric skillet for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Turn the peppers over and brown the other side.
  8. Add more beaten eggs as needed during frying.
  9. Change the oil in the skillet as necessary.
