- Mix together flour and salt. Rub 3 tablespoons of the flour mixture into the steaks.
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a skillet.
- Add the steaks and brown them on both sides.
- Place the browned steaks into a medium-sized baking dish. Add sliced onions and brown lightly; spoon over the meat.
- Melt the remaining butter in the skillet.
- Add sliced mushrooms and brown them, stirring in the remaining flour, beef bouillon, and cream. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Add olives to the mushroom mixture.
- Spoon the mushroom mixture over the meat in the baking dish.
- Cover and bake at 325°F for 1.5 hours or until the meat is tender.
