- Boil the whole head of cabbage until the leaves begin to fall off or peel away easily.
- Remove the cabbage from the water, let it drain, and separate the leaves. Retain the water for later use.
- Mix the ground beef, finely chopped onion, yellow squash, bell pepper, canned whole tomatoes, seasoned salt, and spaghetti sauce together in a bowl.
- Place a tablespoon or more of the mixture in each cabbage leaf and roll up, securing with a toothpick or string.
- Drop the cabbage rolls into the pot of retained water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 1 hour or until the rolls are cooked through.
