Ingredients

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 square baking chocolate
  • 1 cup chopped apple
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons liquid sweetener
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Chop raisins and boil water and raisins for 5 minutes in a 2-quart pan.
  2. Remove from heat and add chopped apples, baking chocolate, and margarine.
  3. When mixture is cool, stir in flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  4. Add egg, liquid sweetener, and vanilla.
  5. Beat the mixture for 1 minute by hand and stir in chopped nuts.
  6. Pour the batter into a 9 x 9-inch pan and bake for 40 minutes at 350°F.
  7. Cut into pieces, wrap, and store in the freezer.
