Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups chopped apples
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and sugar together.
  2. Add beaten eggs, melted margarine, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla, then mix thoroughly.
  3. Add chopped apples to the mixture.
  4. Pour the filling into an unbaked pie shell.
  5. Bake at 425°F for 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. Lower oven temperature to 400°F and continue baking until done.
