Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 yellow squash
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 8 oz. package cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 teaspoon evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Chop the yellow squash and onion.
  2. Boil the chopped squash and onion until tender, then drain.
  3. Combine the cooked squash and onion with cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms, cream cheese, sugar, margarine, and evaporated milk.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  5. Top with crackers and melted margarine.
  6. Bake in a 350°F oven for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
