Instructions
- Soften yeast in water, combine in mixing bowl the cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill seeds, salt, soda and egg to soften yeast.
- Add flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition.
- Cover and let rise in warm place, 85° or 90°, until light and double in size 50 or 60 minutes.
- Stir down dough into well greased sheets.
- Make buns.
- I use a large empty peach can for rounds.
- Let buns rise and bake in 350° oven about 25 or 30 minutes.
- Brush hot buns with soft butter and sprinkle with salt.
