Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. beef round steak or venison, cut 1 1/2 inches thick
  • 1 (8 1/4 oz.) pineapple chunks in heavy syrup
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dill weed
  • 1 large bell pepper, cut in chunks
  • cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Drain the pineapple, reserving the syrup.
  2. Combine the pineapple syrup with lemon juice, salad oil, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, and dill weed.
  3. Cook the mixture slowly for about 5 minutes.
  4. Allow the marinade to cool and pour over the steak or venison.
  5. Marinate the meat overnight.
  6. Spear the marinated meat, pineapple chunks, bell pepper chunks, and cherry tomatoes onto skewers.
  7. Grill the kabobs for 5 to 8 minutes, basting with the marinade.
