Ingredients

  • 10 lb. fresh catfish
  • 3 lb. salt pork
  • 10 lb. potatoes
  • 2 gal. tomatoes
  • 1 gal. corn
  • 1 gal. lima beans
  • 3 lb. okra
  • 10 onions
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the fresh catfish in a separate pot and debone it.
  2. Put the boneless fish and water into a second pot.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Add potatoes, salt pork, tomatoes, corn, lima beans, okra, onions, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook over medium heat for 6 to 8 hours.
