Ingredients

  • 2 c. shrimp
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. onions, minced
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • sprinkle of parsley

Instructions

  1. Chop the shrimp, cream cheese, onions, and lemon juice finely.
  2. Mix all the ingredients well until smooth and combined.
  3. Sprinkle parsley on top of the dip.
  4. Decorate the side of the bowl with whole shrimp for presentation.

Tips & Substitutions

For a smoother dip, ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing. If you prefer a lighter version, consider substituting Greek yogurt for some of the cream cheese. Fresh herbs like dill or chives can enhance the flavors, and you can adjust the lemon juice for extra zest. Be sure to chop the shrimp finely for a better texture.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this dip chilled with an assortment of crackers, fresh vegetables, or pita chips for dipping. It pairs beautifully with Tuna Or Shrimp Wiggle or as part of a seafood platter. For a festive touch, consider garnishing with lemon wedges and serving alongside a glass of white wine for a delightful appetizer.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, gently warm it in the microwave in short intervals, stirring in between, to prevent separation. Alternatively, serve it cold as a refreshing dip with crackers or vegetables.
