Ingredients

  • grape leaves or cabbage leaves
  • dill
  • onion
  • garlic
  • cucumbers
  • 3 red peppers
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup canning salt
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 pint water

Instructions

  1. Bring water, vinegar, salt, and vegetables to a boil and pour this mixture into a jar.
  2. Fill the jar with boiling water.
  3. Let the jar sit undisturbed for 10 days to ferment.
  4. After 10 days, place in the refrigerator and serve.
