  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped unpeeled apple
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix brown sugar, applesauce, vegetable oil, and egg in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Stir in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt until the batter is smooth.
  4. Fold in the coarsely chopped unpeeled apple.
