Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 to 8 potatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups cheese, shredded
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the sliced potatoes and butter in the oven at 350°F for 40 to 45 minutes until browned.
  2. Meanwhile, brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  3. Season the ground beef and potatoes with salt and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the cooked potatoes.
  5. Layer the cooked ground beef over the cheese.
  6. Add the remaining cheese on top and stretch the crescent rolls over the entire mixture.
  7. Bake according to crescent roll package instructions until golden brown.
