Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. Spoon flour into a bowl, then add all remaining ingredients except the chopped peanuts.
  2. Stir with a wooden spoon thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Stir in the chopped peanuts.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50 to 55 minutes.
  6. Cool the bread in the pan for 5 to 10 minutes.
  7. Remove from pan and cool on a rack.
