Ingredients

  • 1 large can pork and beans
  • 1 small can pork and beans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 can Dr. Pepper

Instructions

  1. Pour the large and small cans of pork and beans into a large baking dish.
  2. Add brown sugar, chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, ketchup, mustard, Dr. Pepper, and water to the beans.
  3. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 30 to 40 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
  5. Serve hot; can be prepared ahead and reheated.
