Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound margarine
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 11 ounces dried bread cubes
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups hot turkey/chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Saute celery and onions in margarine. Pour over dried bread cubes.
  2. Add eggs, then pour in hot broth.
  3. Sprinkle with poultry seasoning and salt, then stir well.
  4. When slightly cooled enough to handle, form into approximately 20 balls (size of small orange) or use a 1/2-cup ice cream dipper.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 1 hour.
