Ingredients

  • 1 can corn
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Melt butter with flour; gradually pour in milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil; add the can of corn, salt, pepper, sugar, and the well-beaten egg yolks.
  3. Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites gently into the corn mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a buttered, greased casserole dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until golden and set.
