Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups bite size potatoes
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • salt to taste
  • 1 (No. 2) can tomato juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 (No. 2) can creamed corn
  • 1 cup cooked macaroni

Instructions

  1. Brown and drain the ground beef.
  2. Add potatoes, chopped onion, chicken bouillon cubes, and enough water to cook the potatoes.
  3. Cook vegetables until tender, then add tomato juice, brown sugar, butter, and chili powder.
  4. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Add creamed corn and cooked macaroni.
  6. Let simmer slowly for 10 minutes.
