Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 (28 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. sugar (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Pour off the excess fat from the meat and onion mixture.
  3. Mix the cooked meat and onion with all remaining ingredients in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
  4. Cover the dish and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
