Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 onion
  • 2 green chili peppers
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa
  • 1 can chili hot beans
  • 1 pound stew beef
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown lean ground beef in a large saucepan with chopped onion, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and 3 chopped garlic cloves.
  2. Add all ingredients except the beans and cook uncovered on low heat for 1.5 hours.
  3. Add chili hot beans, bring to boiling point, and serve.
