Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  • 1/2 to 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 lb Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced onion
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Drain excess fat and set the beef aside.
  3. Blend mayonnaise, milk, eggs, and cornstarch until smooth.
  4. Stir in cooked beef, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced onions, and pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes until set and golden.
  7. Serve the beef quiche with a side salad.
