Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 cups powdered sugar
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1/2 bar paraffin

Instructions

  1. Cream butter in a large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
  2. Add vanilla and sweetened condensed milk; beat until blended.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar, 2 cups at a time, blending well after each addition.
  4. Knead the mixture until smooth.
  5. Form the mixture into small balls and refrigerate until firm.
  6. Melt chocolate chips and paraffin over hot water.
  7. Dip each candy into the melted chocolate mixture using a toothpick until coated.
  8. Place coated candies onto waxed paper.
  9. Use leftover chocolate to drizzle on top of the candies to cover any holes left by the toothpick.
