Ingredients

  • 1 fryer or 6 chicken breasts
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1¾ cup chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Boil the chicken and remove the bones.
  2. Chop the cooked chicken and layer it in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  3. Pour chicken broth over the chopped chicken.
  4. Spread undiluted cream of chicken soup over the chicken and broth.
  5. Melt the margarine and combine it with the self-rising flour and milk to make a batter or mixture.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly on top of the layered ingredients.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
