Ingredients

  • 12 oz. fettuccini florentine
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
  • 0.5 lb. shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 10 3/4 oz. can condensed cream of shrimp soup
  • 0.5 c. milk
  • 0.5 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccini according to package directions; drain.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in condensed cream of shrimp soup, milk, sour cream, and paprika.
  6. Cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture is heated through and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the shrimp sauce over the cooked fettuccini.
