Ingredients

  • 2 large jars spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 lb. hamburger, browned
  • 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 12 to 18 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large carton small curd cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the browned hamburger with the spaghetti sauce.
  3. Mix the eggs into the cottage cheese.
  4. Spread a thin layer of sauce in the prepared pan.
  5. Add a layer of uncooked lasagna noodles.
  6. Spread a layer of the cottage cheese mixture over the noodles.
  7. Add a layer of chopped mozzarella cheese.
  8. Pour a generous layer of sauce over the cheese.
  9. Repeat the layers: noodles, cottage cheese mixture, mozzarella, sauce, until ingredients are used, ending with sauce on top.
  10. Cover tightly with heavy-duty foil.
  11. Bake at 375°F for 1 hour.
  12. Let stand, covered, outside of the oven, for 12 to 20 minutes before serving.
  13. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
