A hearty, easy-to-make no boil lasagna with rich tomato sauce, creamy ricotta, melted mozzarella, and seasoned beef, perfect for a comforting family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. lasagna noodles
  • 1 qt. spaghetti sauce
  • 1 to 1 1/4 lb. ground round beef
  • 1 cup water
  • 15 oz. Ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 12 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • a dash of nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a saucepan, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Drain excess fat from the beef.
  4. Add spaghetti sauce and 1 cup water to the beef in the saucepan.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  6. In a baking dish, layer uncooked lasagna noodles, meat sauce, ricotta mixture, and shredded mozzarella.
  7. Repeat layers as needed, ending with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Cover with foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
