Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut into strips
  • 2 medium green peppers
  • 2 fresh tomatoes
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef strips in a skillet and drain excess grease.
  2. Add beef broth to the skillet and simmer until the meat is tender.
  3. Add sliced green peppers, chopped tomatoes, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and simmer for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Mix cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry and stir into the skillet to thicken the sauce, cooking until it has thickened.
