- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Mix shredded Cheddar cheese with sliced green onions lightly.
- Place a tortilla in a paper towel and heat slightly in the microwave to soften.
- Place one tortilla in a large casserole dish or skillet, add 2 tablespoons of sauce and 1/2 cup of cheese mixture.
- Repeat layers until all tortillas are used, ending with a tortilla on top.
- Top with the remaining sauce.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
