Ingredients

  • 3 green tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 can Spam, cut in small strips
  • dry bread crumbs
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 can cream of celery soup

Instructions

  1. Grease a 7 x 7-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer sliced green tomatoes, Spam strips, and cream of celery soup in the dish in that order.
  3. In a small bowl, combine dry bread crumbs with grated cheese.
  4. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the layered ingredients.
  5. Cover the dish with foil.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to brown the top.
  8. Optional: Add more cheese when removing the foil for extra topping.
