Ingredients

  • 6 boneless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 can chicken soup
  • 1/2 can white wine
  • 1 small package Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the dish.
  3. Lay a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast.
  4. Layer sliced mushrooms over the cheese.
  5. Mix the chicken soup and white wine, then pour the mixture over the chicken and mushrooms.
  6. Spread the Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing evenly over the soup mixture.
  7. Drizzle melted butter over the stuffing.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45 to 50 minutes until cooked through and golden.
