Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 lb. ground beef, browned
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, mix shredded cabbage, browned ground beef, uncooked rice, tomato soup, chopped onion, chopped celery, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add water to just cover the ingredients in the pan.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Cover the pan and cook over low heat until vegetables and rice are tender.
  5. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and sprinkle with grated cheese before serving.
