Ingredients

  • 3 whole chicken breasts, split, skinned and boneless
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese (1 oz. each)
  • 1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 cups herb stuffing mix
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place the split, skinned, and boneless chicken breasts in a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  3. Top each chicken breast with a slice of Swiss cheese.
  4. Arrange sliced mushrooms over the cheese.
  5. Mix the condensed cream of chicken soup and white wine; pour the mixture over the chicken.
  6. Sprinkle the herb stuffing mix over the top of the dish.
  7. Drizzle melted butter over the stuffing.
  8. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
