Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup oat bran
  • 2/3 cup liquid (see note)
  • 3 tablespoons white syrup
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Mash bananas well and set aside.
  2. Mix together oat bran, liquid, white syrup, and egg whites.
  3. Allow the mixture to stand for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in the mashed bananas.
