- Cream 1/2 cup oleo, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla and egg, mixing well.
- Stir in 1/2 cup frozen orange juice, blending until well combined.
- Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the orange juice mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Fold in chopped nuts and coconut.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 9 to 11 minutes.
- Remove cookies to a cooling rack.
- Blend powdered sugar with 1/2 cup oleo and remaining orange juice to make frosting.
- Frost hot cookies with the orange frosting.
